5 Days Desert Travel in 4×4 From Marrakech

DAY 1: FROM MARRAKECH TOWARDS TAMNOUGALT

Trek Morocco Desert invites you to enjoy Morocco private tour from Marrakech to explore Sahara desert in Mhamid with friendly drivers and local experienced guides. Morning departure from Marrakech toward Ouarzazate, passing through the Atlas mountain at Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260 meters. After lunch in Ouarzazate, we explore the Taourirt kasbah, we continue through the Draa Valley to Agdz. We will have dinner and overnight stay in one of the oldest kasbahs in Morocco at Tamnougalt.

DAY 2: FROM TAMNOUGALT TO SAHARA DESERT IN MHAMID

Our 5 Day Morocco desert tour from Marrakech – continues to Morocco desert. Before reaching desert we will take the guided tour of the Tamnougalt kasbah. W depart from Agdz via the Draa Valley by off-road on the old caravan route. After lunch in Zagora we drive to Mhamid and we prepare for desert camel ride for 2 hours to the desert camp – bivouac at the foot of the Mhamid Sahara dunes. We stay in desert camp for dinner and overnight stay in the Sahara desert tents.

DAY 3: FROM MHAMID TO SAHARA DESERT IN CHEGAGA

In the morning we enjoy desert sunrise and we ride camels. In the afternoon we departure for the Chegaga dunes (300 meters high), the sand sea with watching desert sunset then we enjoy Berber dinner and overnight stay under the Nomad desert tents in Erg Chegaga.

DAY 4: FROM CHEGAGA DESERT TO CITY OF OUARZAZATE

Today early in the morning we enjoy watching desert sunrise in Chegaga desert and then we departure to Foum Zguid across the Sahara desert, via the lake Iriqui , beautiful desert mountains. After lunch in Foum Zguid, which is the first village after the desert we arrive to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight in the local hotel.

DAY 5: FROM OUARZAZATE TO AIT BENHADDOU AND MARRAKECH CITY

Morning departure to explore the Tifoultoute kasbah and the Ouarzazate cinema studios. We continue passing Atlas Mountains to explore the Ait Benhaddou kasbah,which is Unesco word heritage. Afternoon return to Marrakech and that’s the end of 5 Day desert tour from Marrakech-Morocco desert tour.
